Teryn LeBlanc
Owner & Tattoo Artist at THE BLACK HARE – Conway, Arkansas
With nearly two decades of experience in the art of tattooing, I have been bringing creative visions to life since March 2006. As the owner of THE BLACK HARE, I specialize in a wide range of tattoo styles, including surrealism, Neo and American traditional, cover-ups, and designs inspired by Japanese culture and Art Nouveau. My passion for tattooing and its vast history and culture heavily influences my artistic approach, giving my work a distinctive flair fit for any project.
Beyond the tattoo studio, I thrive on creativity in all forms—whether it’s designing for the web, crafting intricate graphics, or painting. My home recording studio also fuels my love for music production, keeping the creative energy flowing even outside the shop.
When I’m not immersed in art, I’m dedicated to my family: my incredible wife of 15 years, our two wonderful children, and our lively household of four dogs and one quirky bearded dragon named Newton. You could say I run a small zoo when I’m not running a tattoo machine!
Thank you for your ongoing support over the years. Check out my portfolio, rates, and booking information below—I look forward to collaborating and bringing your ideas to life.
RATES
I run my business with a straightforward principle: my prices are set and non-negotiable. I don’t haggle, wheel and deal, or price match because someone else — whether another shop or a friend — says they’ll do it cheaper. If that’s what you’re looking for, I completely understand, and you’re welcome to go that route. My focus is on creating tattoos that are both enjoyable for me to design and meaningful for you to wear.
HOURLY RATE : $175
Drawing, planning the tattoo design itself, preparing the stencil, And executed hours of tattooing
FULL DAY RATE : $1200
Drawing, planning the tattoo design, preparing the stencil and on average 5-6+ hours of tattoo work.
DEPOSITS
Appointment Deposit Policy
A $200 deposit is required to book an appointment, which secures your date and time with me. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your tattoo at the end of your session. For projects requiring multiple sessions, the deposit rolls over and is applied to the final session.
For example, if your total tattoo cost is quoted at $800 and you’ve paid a $200 deposit, you will owe $600 plus tax at the end of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable and valid for one year unless you are working on a large, multi-session project. If you cancel, no-call/no-show, or reschedule last minute, you will need to pay a new deposit to book another appointment.
Thank you for understanding and respecting these terms.
CREATIVE FREEDOM
Getting the Best Tattoo Experience
To deliver the best possible work, I need you to trust me with creative freedom when designing and creating your tattoo. While it’s perfectly fine to bring references or ideas as a starting point, I prefer to transform those concepts into something unique for you. I’m not here to replicate tattoos found online — unless we’re working on a portrait, in which case accuracy is essential. My goal is to bring your vision to life in a way that we both take pride in.
If certain design elements need to be done in a specific way, please understand that I make these choices based on my professional experience and knowledge of tattoo artistry.
I know getting a new tattoo is exciting, and I share that excitement with you. However, I also have commitments outside of tattooing, including running a business and spending time with my family. For this reason, I typically design your tattoo the night before, the morning of your appointment, or during a brief consultation when you arrive. This process works best for me and ensures the design is fresh and inspired.
Please note that I take Sundays and Mondays off to recharge and spend time with my family. Business is strictly handled from Tuesday to Saturday.
I’m easygoing and always open to hearing your ideas, so please communicate your thoughts clearly. I want you to be completely satisfied with the design, and open communication ensures we achieve that together.
BOOKING
Tattoo Request Guidelines
Please carefully review and complete all the questions in the Tattoo Request Form located at the bottom of the page. The more detailed you are in describing your idea, the better I can understand and plan your design. Incomplete submissions will not receive a response.
I prioritize existing projects and requests that align with my preferred styles. I truly appreciate each and every one of you who wants me to create a piece for them. While I’d love to accommodate everyone quickly, I am just one person and typically schedule only one tattoo per day.
If my booking schedule is a bit backed up, I sincerely apologize. This allows me to dedicate the time needed to create the best possible work for each client. Please be patient and trust the process — I promise it will be worth it!
